New Video: Tinashe – ‘Save Room For Us’

Published: Friday 14th Feb 2020 by Sam

Tinashe is proving herself one of modern R&B’s hardest hustlers.

Because, ever since releasing ‘Songs For You’ – her first indie album, she’s been dropping a steady flow of videos. The latest of which, ‘Save Room For Us,’ arrived moments ago.

Backed by an army of male dancers, ‘Nashe leads the pack with potent choreography that compliments the song in earnest.

Watch below…

Yet another solid effort from Ms. Kachingwe.

She’s still trying? Bless her heart

She’s so unoriginal, this song sounds like doja cat say so.
Retro disco sound is hot right now so of cause miss tinashe hopped on the trend. Smh
    She lacks originality.

It ur a trend hopper, u can never be successful.
A real artist set trends, not follow trends

By the way, how does she get mo ey to keep making videos.
    2 on royalty checks?

This song also sounds like beyonce’s song blow.
I knew I have heard this beat before.

      It doesn’t at all…

Yesss this the old school tinashe I knew….I liked it and one of the best songs on the album! She is meant to be indie cause this is where she truly slays ?

Y’all haters. Tinashe been working on this album for 3 years. If you were as talented as her, you would be on your sh*t

I’ve enjoyed this album and every single video she’s released! I will now admit that Tinashe is criminally underrated. RCA just didn’t know what to do with her, and the false start-stops completely derailed her career, but I think she can bounce back. I never thought I’d be a true fan of hers, but look at me now. A Tinashe fan.

    • Adina… Adina… Say Adina February 14, 2020

Completely agreed. I didn’t get the hype surrounding her at first but this album Songs For You is EVERYTHING… from start to finish. I’m really rooting for her.

RCA tried every single thing imaginable with her. She’s released so many videos, different sounds, different types of producers. At some point we have to stop blaming labels and just realize it’s us the fans. When we don’t support artist regardless of the direction they go, how can we fault the label?

I’m just becoming a fan of her shorr-necked ass. She’s won me over this era. She doesn’t have many fans. Therefore, she needs more exposure to garner more.

@onlyfacts I love you btw i am a big tinashe supporter too. My comment wasn’t directed at you but more so a generalization, food for thought.

@Meme I love you too boo! I agree with your comment.

This album is amazing I love this song she write mostly all of her stuff ???

  8. Meme February 14, 2020

The best song on the album. The words of the song is so raw and you can tell it’s about Ben.

I think Tinashe has officially fallen into ‘Mya’ territory …. it’s hard to imagine her being commercially successful again … all these throw away songs nobody is gonna care about except a nightclub filled with 200 people on all her club tours. It’s sad . As she deserves better.

This visual is fire , doesn’t match the song , but it’s a good visual , waste of a visual tbh .

    • Faf February 14, 2020

I mean u have a point but many artists once they go independent no longer want to be tied to a label. Imagine dropping work that u produce for under $100k and selling just 12k you’d break even and the money from tours you just give management 10 percent . Just 30k per show is 27000 cash per show. So the artists who aren’t commercially successful get to make music they want and make all their money

      • AnonymousTruth February 14, 2020

        This is true !
As long as she is happy then I guess.

This is not one of my favorite songs from the album but this IS my favorite video after Die A Little Bit. The combination of high-octane dance and raw tears makes things interesting…dancing the pain away. I think Tinashe is slept on and ridiculed but with this kind of hustle it won’t be long before we are all singing her praises. Solid video effort!!!!!!

  11. Faf February 14, 2020

    She’s so pretty

This is giving me Janet “i get lonely”

  12. eric February 14, 2020

I’ve never been a fan, but I think the song and choreography suit her much better than everything she’s done since “2 On”.

  13. AngelKeys February 15, 2020

That grape juice please get rid of that annoying F######! Pop up window that keeps coming up on EVERY page. It is so annoying and putting me off this site. I get the ads..you need the ads to keep the site running but that pop up video is your own. It’s not needed. STOP! Tinashe wants to be an all rounder when it comes to music, cross genre etc but it’s not working. Stick to urban or stick to pop. One or the other as you don’t have the same superstar pull as the likes of Janet, Beyonce etc

Poor girl I called this for her years ago when she dropped 2on. The US has not had a notable break out start in at least 5-7 years. No one that’s going to go down as a legend. The music industry sucks and started to suck when artist Development went out the window. YouTube/ social media starts are going to have a bigger following than artist mark my words.
