iHeartRadio Music Awards, Hosted By Usher, Postponed Due To Coronavirus

Published: Monday 16th Mar 2020 by Sam

Another show bites the dust, courtesy of coronavirus. And this time its the 2020 edition of the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Details below…

Hosted by Usher, the ceremony was set to take place on March 29th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. It was to be broadcast live on Fox.

Yet, with the need for isolation and social distancing seeing venues worldwide close mandatorily, organisers have announced that the show will not take place as planned. Instead it has been rescheduled. No date has been given nor is it apparent whether one has been set (given the evolving nature of the situation at hand).

A statement from an iHeartMedia rep read:

“The safety of our guests, employees, artists and partners is our main priority. iHeartMedia and Fox will plan to reschedule at the appropriate time and will provide more information and relevant updates as they become available. Refunds are being issued to ticketed guests.”

The news comes amidst postponements and cancellations across the entire entertainment sector.

Usher is the most talented RnB guy vocally and performance wise (yes he has better vocals than Chris Brown) but he’s CONTAMINATED ALSO with the H_erpes
