Katy Perry’s ‘Never Worn White’ Tops YouTube, iTunes Charts in 20+ Countries

Published: Thursday 5th Mar 2020 by Rashad

Thanks to new single, ‘Never Worn White,’ Katy Perry is seeing her name colored atop a number of iTunes sales tallies across the globe.

Released just yesterday (March 4), buzz for the song’s official accompanying visual was heightened when it was rumored to feature footage of the Pop singer’s growing baby bump – a murmur put to rest and confirmed by the time the J.A.C.K.-directed clip arrived to YouTube.

Yet, while the video amassed a whopping 6 million views in less than 24 hours (making it the day’s most trending media on the platform), its mention at number 1 doesn’t end with that list.

See what we mean inside:

As of time reported, ‘White’ sits comfortably atop the U.S. iTunes Pop chart.  See the top 10 below:

Occupying the #2 spot on the overall tally (bested only by Dixie Chicks‘ new single ‘Gaslighter’), the song’s dominance over its Pop contemporaries is not only felt in America, but also demonstrated globally.

In addition to sitting at #2 on the Worldwide iTunes charts, the Johan Carlsson-produced tune rocketed to #1 on the iTunes charts of Spain, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Costa Rica, and more respectively while sitting in the top 10 of the likes of the tallies of the United Kingdom, Canada, and others.

Quite promising all in all, the digital downloads – when coupled with future radio airplay and streaming on various outlets – could spell for a handsome premiere on the Billboard Hot 100 week after next.

iTunes means NOTHING in 2020. Her career is dead and she knows it. The only ones who can’t acknowledge her career is dead are the bloggers on this site and her delusional cats…oops, I mean fans.

It is dead. I can’t sit here and argue otherwise. Katy is on the same level as Kesha now. Rihanna doing makeup, Beyoncé with her family and really is just Lady Gaga pushing hard out here. Stupid love projected to debut at number 6

LMFAO “iTunes pop chart” that already tells you she’s not number 1. Well I wish her the best . Katy has fallen big and I find it very hard to recover. Flops singles to bubbling under to nobody caring. She’s on the same level as Kesha now. Rihanna has moved on to makeup and beauty and Lady Gaga is out here full steam ahead about to get a Top 10 hit on billboard, new album next month, tour coming up, Vegas residency , successful movie career. BEYONCÉ has a family and has been moving away from the spotlight. 11 years ago in 2009 who would’ve imagined.

Katy did what she had to do in a short time period. Although pop music is making a comeback, no ones checking for Katy’s style of music, or Katy period. It’s all about the Dua Lipa’s and Billie Eillish’s of the world.

She’s out here still topping charts and making millions off her music career, not to mention her highly successful shoe and handbag line that’s estimated to be worth over a billion next year, and you’re still calling her career “over.“ Y’all are big time hating, pathetic losers. It’s actually quite laughable. Get your fkng lives together and stop worrying about others that are much more successful than you. Not a good look. ????
