Kenneth Petty is now a registered sex offender in Los Angeles.

Petty is married to the rapper Nicki Minaj and was convicted of first-degree attempted rape back in 1995 and spent time behind bars after he was found guilty of the crime.
This year he has learned that he may face up to ten years in prison for failing to register as a sex offender in Los Angeles where he is believed to have relocated after wedding Minaj.
Why?
Guidelines from New York State’s Sex Offender Registry indicate that offenders must notify the Division of Criminal Justice Services within ten days of any change of address. Petty moved to Los Angeles during the summer of 2019.
This rule was put in place to protect potential victims and allow authorities to keep an eye on perpetrators.
Petty has now rectified the matter by registering as an offender following his release from prison.
This, coupled with another legal issue he is facing, is why some his supporters fear he is to face fresh prison time.

Nicki is an idiot for marrying this guy and then not making sure that she personally reminded her husband (even before they relocated from New York to California) to register as a s** offender when they arrived in California.
