The flavorsome bop sees the former Fifth Harmony songbird tap into her Cuban heritage, sonically and lyrically; for the song is sung in Spanish and English, with both being interwoven effortlessly.
‘Lento’ is the latest taste from the Columbia Records chanteuse, who has whet appetites with jams such as ‘Expectations’ and ‘More Than That.’
Speaking on the track, she said:
“I had planned to give you this first taste of what’s coming for some time. There was truly no way any of us could have prepared for what is happening right now, so I hope you receive Lento with as much grace and love as is intended.
