Taking to Instagram Tuesday (March 24), the Boss Hogg revealed:
“The other day I got tested for the coronavirus, and it came back positive,” he said. “As careful as I have been self-quarantined, staying at home, I might gotten something to eat or something, did some stuff like that, simple stuff, nothing crazy.”
Spurring an outpour of sympathy from the Hip Hop community, Thug – as mentioned in the video – says his symptoms are mild.
“I’m good, I don’t got no problems right now,” he said. “The other day I had a slight fever and a cough, I feel better now, no fever, nothing like that, I feel like I am good, you all better take this serious, coronavirus is real.”
The 39-year-old, who garnered notoriety in the mid-2000s for being linked to Destiny’s Child starlet Letoya Luckett, co-starring on Beyonce‘s #1 hit ‘Check On It,’ as well as lifting his fair share of Hip Hop hits to the top of Rap charts, has dedicated most of the last decade to philanthropy via his “Boss Life Construction” venture.
The organization ventures into different cities to restore abandoned homes to provide shelter for low income and homeless people for free.
