Behind the Scenes: Selena Gomez’s ‘Boyfriend’ Music Video [Watch]

Published: Wednesday 22nd Apr 2020 by Rashad

Entering at #59, Selena Gomez‘s latest single, ‘Boyfriend,’ made a solid debut on this week’s Hot 100 thanks in great part to its cinematic, Matty Peacock-directed music video.

Helping hoist the tune to iTunes’ sales chart’s top 5 upon its April 10 premiere, the clip has since amassed over 25 million views (as of time reported).

To give its shelf-life an extension, Gomez has taken to her official YouTube handle to invite her fans – affectionately called #Selenators – into a look at the behind-the-scenes action.

‘Boyfriend’ is found on the deluxe edition of the singer’s latest album, ‘Rare.’ $1 from every order of the LP’s from her official web site will go toward coronavirus relief efforts.

This child can’t sing or hold a NOTE, can’t dance. She’s cute and that’s IT. All these girls singing for POINTS and they decide to MAKE THIS CHILD A STAR. Almost worst than Jennifer Lopez

Atleast she has an ear for a hit.

      Come and get it
      Hit the lights
Love you like a love song
      same old love

      These are all hit songs
      Did she write them, NO

Her vocals are poor but she chooses songs that work well with her weak vocals.

Unlike normani who doesn’t have an ear for a hit.
Singing ariana grande rejects like motivation.

Nobody hyped selena as the next big thing unlike the way you guys hype miss normani as the second coming.

Selena Gomez and normani have the worst vocals in the industry today.
If I were to pick between the two, I will pick Selena.

Damn I use to stan her in the past but I just outgrew her real quick.

I remember bopping to naturally back in the day.
Love you like a love song was also a good bop
