With little warning, April 24 saw DaBaby release ‘Blame It on Baby’ – his third album in nearly a year.
Despite being greeted with mixed critical reviews, the set still managed to land the 28-year-old his second consecutive Billboard 200 chart-topper (as we reported here). Jam-packed with features (including the likes Megan Thee Stallion, Ashanti, Quavo, Future, and more), a standout cut from the LP comes courtesy of the Roddy Ricch-assisted ‘Rockstar.’
Produced by SethInTheKitchen, the tune – which serves as ‘Blame It on Baby’s official second single – is one of 12 from the 13-track disc that placed on this week’s Hot 100. Unlike its counterparts, it is the only to debut in the tally’s top 10 – a career first for DaBaby and Ricch respectively.
Also marking both artists’ second top 10 hit overall, look inside to see who joined them in the top 25 on this week’s TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100 edition.
Hot 100 This Week
So many albums and his first top 10 Waoo
Maybe the one with camila is his second one
Aww. My oh my still isn’t top ten. That song wouldn’t have even charted without dababy being featured.
Said no one ever. Except if it is a hater. ?????
Where did “Living Proof” chart?
Where did “Easy” chart?
Where did “Cry For Me” chart?
Oh right, they didn’t. Wanna know why? Because they didn’t have a feature. Why do Camila Cabullshit’s solo singles never chart? We love to see it. DaBaby is the ONLY reason “My Oh My” charted…why do you think Camila is such a joke in the pop industry? LOL
@onlyfacts Never Be The Same was #1 in US Pop and #6 in Hot 100 without feature. We had this conversation before
I can’t believe intentions is in the top ten. That song and this entire album sucks
I am not surprised that f******* didnt have top 32 solo hot. She os nowhere to be found in hot 100 lmfaoooo
*hit

As far as we all knew F******* is the joke because she a flop. No album out. No top 30 hit as a solo. She needed charity from Sam Smith and Khalid
I’m not even shocked tbh. The first time I listened to the so I knew it was a hit. Its definitely gonna hit top 5 and probably #1
Ashanti got three decades of hits with nasty ayyyyy
??????????????
I really cannot stop laughing. IF this doesn’t show you how Camicky is a flop and not a star, I don’t know what will.
2019- Camicky released multiple solo flops
Then releases MoM with the hottest rapper which is still not top 10 after 6 months.
Yet DaBaby went top 10 after a week. ????????????????????????????????
Camicky can’t do anything on her own
The funny part is Camila’s “flops” are more iconic and have more streams than F******* Motivation lmfaoooooooo
What is your response
For people who don’t care about Normani? Since you assume everyone is obsessed with her like you are for Camila
Lmao meg the pony stuck at number 14 she always get close but no top 10 yet overrated ass ????
LMAO welp. I guess 0 top 10’s for her. Hot Girl Summer peaked at 11. Doja Cat has a top 5 hit without doing all that publicity stunt
Doja Cat and Camila has top 5 hit unlike F******* lmfaooooo
Damm that pic looks like …I want mi coin … leprechaun haha. wait! Is that the leprechaun all grownup
