The Pop empress and her fans have discovered that her breakout body of work ‘Cuz I Love You‘ has sold and streamed enough units in the United States each week to spend a total of one year within the Billboard 200.

The project was released on April 19th 2019 and debuted at number six with 41,000 album-equivalent units and then returned to that chart position months later (June 27th 2019) thanks to the success of singles ‘Juice’ and ‘Truth Hurts.’

Since then, the performer’s large and powerful fan base have put their money where their mouths are by streaming and buying enough copies of the set to ensure that it spent over 52 weeks on the chart.

The feel-good release is currently outperforming records released months after its own unveiling and has moved close to 2 million album-equivalent units worldwide.

As much as I love Lizzo, I forget about her having an album. All I remember are her two biggest hits. I can’t believe Atlantic didn’t push “tempo” more…that deserved to be a moment
