R. Kelly’s Second Request For Jail Release To Avoid COVID-19 Denied

Published: Thursday 23rd Apr 2020 by Rashad

Two weeks after R. Kelly‘s first attempt to be released from federal jail over coronavirus concerns were denied (click here to read), the ‘Step in the Name of Love’ star’s second attempt to be step out of the facility over the same issue has been rejected again.

Details inside:

Currently behind bars at Chicago’s Metropolitan Correctional Center (where several inmates have tested positive for COVID-19), Kelly – thanks to a federal judge – will remain so as he awaits multiple trials or sex-crime related charges in three different states.

Report:

“On Tuesday (April 21), a federal judge denied Kelly’s request saying the 53-year-old remains a flight risk and could possibly “intimidate prospective witnesses” if he’s released.

The judge, who acknowledged that COVID-19 had spread at the jail, stressed that Kelly’s bond did not present enough evidence that the singer is uniquely at risk to contract the disease.”

R Kelly ain’t neva did nothin to hurt NOBODY!!!!. I’d take R. Kelly over 69 or Pill. R Kelly seems innocent of all convictions, no valid evidence to prove otherwise
