T-Pain & Chris Brown Reunite For New Single ‘Wake Up Dead’

Published: Monday 20th Apr 2020 by Rashad

As we reported here, Chris Brown‘s second and last Hot 100 #1 single came courtesy of his collaboration with T-Pain, 2007’s ‘Kiss Kiss.’

And, while the longtime buds have played co-star on a number of tunes over the years including ‘Best Love Song,’ ‘Freeze,’ ‘Classic You,’ and more, they’ve yet to duplicate the success of ‘Kiss.’  With new song ‘Wake Up Dead,’ however, that could be set to change.

Just weeks after teasing the new song during his producer battle with Lil’ Jon, T (born Faheem Rasheed Najm) took to Instagram recently to unveil news about when fans can expect to hear ‘Dead’ in full.

In Chris Brown prime first 15 years he’s gone 13 years without a Billboard Hot 100 #1. LMAO but black people swear he’s over Usher and on Michael Jackson level SMDH. He can’t even compete on the charts with Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and The Weekend.

    • Yeshua Is Coming April 21, 2020

Breezy has sold 108+ million albums. Usher hasn’t, Bruno hasn’t, Weeknd hasn’t. Only Bieber has sold more and barely. Not a landslide. He has 3 #1 albums . Sales wise to compare ANY of them to MJ is crazy as hell. But breezy pulling his weight. Try again

      • G-bby April 21, 2020

108M where? CB has sold MAYBE 8.5M albums worldwide PURE SALES!!! He hasn’t sold over 1,000,000 copies of an album since 2007.

Confessions outsold Chris Brown’s entire discography. In pure sales, Usher has sold around 50M albums.

But whatever helps you sleep at night….

Man you delusional Chris Brown groupies need to stop getting your information from Chris lying Wikipedia page cause literally anyone can write that. Chris haven’t sold over 100 million anything, he’s sold 60 plus million digital songs and 14 million actual albums.

      • Tino April 21, 2020

If you look at both Usher and Chris Brown sales by album to album and actually think Chris has sold more than Usher you’re either smoking crack or you’re just a Chris Brown groupie. Chris Brown 9 albums released with less than 20 million actual albums sold, 171 songs released with 60 plus million sold. Usher 8 albums released with 60 plus million actual albums sold, 74 songs released with 95 plus million sold. TRY AGAIN

If the colab with Drake could not give this woman beater a No 1 what makes him think that working with T-Pain will? Chrissy Brown just hang give up already. Releading 100 track albums won’t help you.

It went #1 just not on hot 100. Keep hating

  5. Nate April 21, 2020

The song title isn’t wise considering what’s going on in the world….

My thoughts exactly. I will not be listening.
