However, after Beyoncé hopped on the former’s, the J. White Did It-produced number blasted to the top of Apple Music and iTunes (where it’s remained since its premiere). Cat made waves as well when, just a day later, she unveiled the highly anticipated remix to her Dr. Luke-crafted cut featured Nicki Minaj.
Now the tunes are locked in a tight battle for #1 on next week’s Hot 100.

As of time reported, Stallion leads the race for next week’s #1.
Bounding into this week’s top 5 sans Beyoncé credit (as we reported here), the stats attributed to the tune thanks to the Queen’s feature is looking like just the padding needed to help Meg nab her first chart-topper.
Unseating current chart champs Travis Scott and Kid Cudi in the process, if accomplished the move would mark Bey’s 7th run atop the tally.
However, their win isn’t guaranteed.
Industry analysts suggest the SPS margin between the two isn’t wide enough to make an official call as of Wednesday (May 6). But, as of time reported, ‘Say So’ trails ‘Savage’ in sales + streaming and will likely land at the #2 spot when the dust settles.
While we await official news to be delivered May 11, there are two important things to note:
