Mariah Carey continues to do her part for the COVID-19 relief effort.
The diva supreme was one of a number of acts who performed on ‘Rise Up New York,’ a fundraiser put on by The Robin Hood Relief Benefit in support of NYC residents financially affected by the effects of coronavirus.
100 percent of funds raised will provide support for food, shelter, cash assistance, health and mental health, legal services, education and more.
For her part, Mimi re-engaged with her ‘Charmbracelet’ single ‘Through The Rain’ and paired it with classic ‘Make It Happen’ in medley form.

Mariah Carey while this sounds anti-live…more tricks from the Queen. But its ok she’s an ICON and has been belting for years. It makes sense that she would do this. She needs to embrace her OLDER music and REMIND the public why they gave her all those NUMBER 1’s. Make it happen and Through the rain are great cuts. Can we give credit where credit is due? She merged these songs beautifully you would think they were ONE. Mariah looks and sounds good; obviously she is using pre-recorded vocals but who cares she is MC. I just may have to rip the audio off Youtube and play this in my car!
