Apple is joining the fight against the evil that is anti-blackness.
Find out how below…
The company, now governed by Tim Cook, has announced plans to invest $100 million into causes designed to dissolve the apparatus which upholds anti-blackness.
Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Initiative will “challenge the systemic barriers to opportunity and dignity that exist for communities of color and particularly for the black community”.
Cook leads the philanthropic to thank the black community for its contributions to the company and because of his own personal experiences with racism.
The unfinished work of racial justice and equality call us all to account. Things must change, and Apple’s committed to being a force for that change. Today, I’m proud to announce Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Initiative, with a $100 million commitment. pic.twitter.com/AoYafq2xlp
