K-Pop superstars BTS are aligning with #BlackLivesMatter in a big way.

Full story below…

In a statement to Variety, the band and their management company Big Entertainment confirmed a $1 million donation to the social justice cause.

The announcement was paired with a statement, which read:

“Black people all over the world are in pain at this moment from the trauma of centuries of oppression. We are moved by the generosity of BTS and allies all over the world who stand in solidarity in the fight for Black lives.”

BTS join a growing list of high-profile names to mobilize in support of Black justice, following the shocking death of unarmed Black man George Floyd at the hands of a Minnesota police officer.

Great, but don’t do it in the name for a guy who pulled a gun on a pregnant women after forcing his way in her home and robbing her.
He wasn’t a good person, but still didn’t deserve to die of course.

White men have BEEN violent since day ONE in this country! Shut ya ass up! It’s black people, women and everyone else BESIDES white men who have done the most to truly try to make this country democratic! Facts! Cause the democracy our “founding fathers” THOUGHT they were writing about was largely false! Now, eat that lol..they made it SOUND good, but this country has been racist AND misogynistic since the very beginning…our founding fathers weren’t good people…what you gonna say NOW? You never talk about the MAIN PROBLEM 😂🤳🏽 The main problem is white men use violence for power 💯 As soon as you said forcing his way into a home and robbing I thought about white men…SORRY! 🤣 Why don’t you talk about the white male killing of Native women? All men are created equal…HA! Yeah, right! SMH

@fancybish. You sound very angry and very very uneducated. You need to know your stats and know the facts before you chant some.

George Floyd was a vile human being and once again he’s being. He didn’t deserve to die but it’s time to educate yourself as well as the white people! Stop blaming white peoples for everything and making them feel bad for being white. Grow up and stop being angry.

Thats really nice of them. I’m pretty sure most black people don’t know about BTS but BLM, anyways… wish they will donate to their own country. Racism do existed in Korea, especially North Korea

The irony of a group from a country which is one of the most racist against black people making this donation.

I can’t believe we live in a world where someone else’s skin colour being black or brown or everything in between is a problem. How f***!n stupid can some – well many – people be ? We’re all the same, flesh and blood.

Native Americans have been massacred. Africans have been deported, enslaved, violated, killed… And still to this date, the violence, discrimination and murders remain on a different level.

I know racism is a worldwide issue but the USA are so messed up on so many levels. The racism rooted in a big part of the society, the election system, access to education, gun policy, wellfare and social security… Where goes all the money seriously ?

I know a lot of people, especially kids, admire the US because they dominate the entertainment industry. And those kids look at the US through their admiration for their favorite singers, actors, movies, tv shows, award shows etc. But don’t get fooled, that country is in a terrible state.

Now regarding BTS I think it’s a good symbol as the discrimination against Black people in Asia is quite strong.
Asia is slowly invading Africa building hospitals here and there, among other things, but they’re not doing all of this out of charity only…
