Ahead of the sweet reception of ‘Sour Candy’ – BLACKPINK‘s duet with Lady Gaga – the South Korean quartet were already penciled in Billboard history books for being the highest charting female K-Pop group ever thanks to the #41 peak of their tune, ‘Kill This Love.’
Now, as revealed by the refreshed Hot 100, they’ve upped the ante thanks to the ‘Chromatica’ tune’s official debut.
Premiering at #33 on this week’s tally, the arrival of the BloodPop-produced tune comes as a personal best for BLACKPINK (to date). And, although its their first time occupying a slot in the top 40, ‘Sour’ shines as Gaga’s 25th career entry in that region of the Hot 100.
As congratulations is due to both parties, look below to see who joined them on this week’s TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100 edition.
