Report: Beyonce & Disney In “Advanced” Negotiations For $100 Million Deal

Published: Wednesday 10th Jun 2020 by Sam

Last summer saw Disney‘s live-action version of ‘The Lion King’ make an almighty roar at the box office. With many attributing Beyonce‘s involvement – as Nala – as one of the key drivers for the flick’s billion dollar domination.

It appears the media juggernaut agrees. Because, sources say Disney and Queen Bey are in “advanced talks” for a major partnership deal.

Full story below…

Per a new report, the singer is believed to be hashing out a $100 million, 3-project deal that would include her helming the ‘Black Panther 2’ soundtrack and involvement with new streamer Disney Plus.

Citing a source said to be close to the situation, T.S shared:

“Beyoncé has become a major player for Disney and is the perfect fit for their brand.

She’s worked on a number of projects for them, including voicing Nala in the reboot of The Lion King, and now they’re keen to secure her for more projects.

Disney have put forward a deal worth around $100 million (£80million), which will secure Beyoncé for three major projects, including the Black Panther sequel.

As part of the deal they are also trying to get her team to agree to have Beyoncé voicing some of the new documentaries coming to Disney Plus.

After the success of having Meghan Markle voicing the film Elephant on the platform, they have projects coming up which align perfectly with Beyoncé’s brand.”

Time will tell if this comes to fruition. But we know we’d be more than here for it.

The equity in Beyonce’s brand is undeniable at this point and is an asset in every sense of the term.

As epic as her career has been, it’s even more exciting anticipating what’s to come. Especially if she does indeed curate the ‘Black Panther 2’ soundtrack. A perfect pairing!

For those who didn’t listen to The Gift by beyoncè will never know why Disney wants her for the black panther sequel. It was nominated for a grammy for a reason. Amazing and well thought out album. She has that ear for music that y’all think these others have. It’s strange to me when I hear music of the veterans in the industry: just disappointing. Timberlake, keys, gaga, cb,

    • TC June 10, 2020

Bey does have a really good ear for music, but I’ve always thought Matthew had the best understanding of how to help her sound and image resonate with the general public.

      • Tori June 10, 2020

Both of you are very correct. I will admit I skipped The gift, the soundtrack and movie believing it would all be corny as hell but honestly The Goft was good for what it was. But Matthew couldve made it bigger. It was interesting to see how fans gravitated more with Brown Skin Girl and Mood 4 Eva yet she continued to push Spirit and Bigger. While Bigger was so damn good, Spirit was absolutely terrible for a lead single, especially if you plan for an album to be promoted solely on the wings of a single and video. This whole “not doing promo” is pretentious b******* at this point and one of the reasons The Gift went unnoticed and unappreciated.

Matthew knew the perfect blend for beyonce

@Shawntap – Yes, Beyonće is so Fake and Over that multi billion dollar media houses are happy to part with €100M for her services …. but go off, we‘re listening …

      • Strawberry June 11, 2020

No,Chile..yo Hatred of Beyonce is What’s Fake. Cuz you & yo Fave could never BE her. ..THE JEALOUSY.. Lol, see now THAT’S what’s ReaL!!***

Yaaas! Can’t wait to here what character voice she does next!
I loved Nala, it just seemed so effortless for Bey, almost like she didn’t try at all!
Bring that Demon Time to the chirrens, you know they deserve it!

  3. Peter Piper June 10, 2020

But the lion king and the soundtrack underperformed🧐

    • Beylover June 10, 2020

You’re focused on sales instead of the actual music! That album was 🔥 and it captured the essence of the Lion King! Granted the album would have sold better had she promoted it more but, honestly who sales a lot of album on soundtracks anymore? This isn’t the 90’s BodyGaurd era anymore!

    • Haterz+Gon‘+Hate June 10, 2020

Again – The Lion King soundtrack was never made to make more money than the Film at the box office.

MARKETING 101: Beyoncé is a BRAND – her involvement in a project extends the products reach into key consumer demographics (see: touring audience for receipts) 🤳🏾

Ion c it. Kendrick made black panther soundtrack a huge success. Although the gift had some Bopz It flopped terribly. Sounds like a headline grab after she missed Forbes to me

    • Beylover June 10, 2020

So you think Beyoncé cares about the Forbes list when she’s already worth over $400 million and her husband’s already a Billionaire? Not to mention hasn’t reported her income to Forbes since 2013 everything they post about her are estimates! I swear basic logic goes out the window when it comes to Beyoncé. 🙄

    • tyty June 10, 2020

Forbes do not accurately portray peoples wealth evidently by the fiasco with kylie Jenner, Beyoncé and Jay z do not disclose their finances to Forbes. Forbes have already said this Forbes have no idea how much Beyoncé is worth and she is smart to keep it that way.

  5. tyty June 10, 2020

The gift was a good body of work I have no idea why people paid it dust. Beyoncé abandoned her mainstream audience for the woke crowd and they don’t even appreciate it 🤦🏽‍♀️…… But I’m here for new stuff. But I’m guessing we won’t be getting a solo album for a while.

  6. Biancacook June 10, 2020

I’m sorry beyonce music is not all that great. Performance wise, she’s a beast but the music itself is just not up to par. Her fans no doubt will support but bey lost me a looooong time ago.

    • Killian June 10, 2020

Matthew knew the perfect blend for beyonce

  7. MonkeySeeMonkeyDo June 10, 2020

Idk because that separate Lion King album didn’t do well and was just okay. Maybe promo would’ve help sell it more but the music itself wasn’t good. Black Panther soundtrack was everything, so she better come hard! I love her regardless

Disney is the greatest, most successful Enterprise on Earth. Trust me they know what they’re doing. Since they’re the greatest on Earth they wanted to secure the greatest Artist on Earth. They didn’t want your fave Radio popstar. They didn’t want your fave teen idol wannabe icon. (Queen Bey already been there-done that) They wanted a world class Pop phenomon. The New Millennium Michael Jackson. Unmatched in song, dance, talent AND Beauty. The Untouchable one who long ago transcended Sales and petty chart statistics. (That’s for thirsty desperate low-talent insecure attention/Award-seeking need-your approval peasants on the come-up) AKA = all you Haters’ faves. In short, BEYONCE is THE KING OF THE WORLD. ..& Everybody (including yo Fave) KNOWS it! Disney certainly does. JEAPORDY QUESTION: The Greatest living Pop Artist/Performer of Our Generation. ANSWER: who is BEYONCE. 4th decade going strong, she left all the kids she started out with, backstreet, 98, nsync, Justin,Christina, Britney in the Dust. Even her own group Destiny’s Child, in whose smash Survivor the Queen told y’all- “even in my Years to Come- I’m still gon’ BE here. 2 decades later whose name is STILL on all the Haters’ Lips? ..O YEAH Disney want what we ALL want. To be or HAVE a piece of Pop’s Reigning Queen, B-E-Y-O-N-C-E**$

#ALL HAIL THE QUEEN & Watch the GOTdam Throne!!!*******

      • ??? June 10, 2020

lol girl shut up, the greatest artist of the earth wouldn’t flop massively with only 950 sales even with Disney’s name attached to it, but your fave did lol. Its more PR bullsh*t because she didn’t make Forbes list but younger girls that arent even her peers did lol.

  8. #TheTruth June 10, 2020

The Gift was… ok. I’ve been to Africa multiple times I was expecting more authentic sounds. I know she tried to merge different sounds, and I applaud her for doing so. I was just expecting to hear more sonorities like I’ve heard during my trips. More tribal sounds, more African drums.

She paid for a private screening for her staff at Parkwood when the 1st one came out, so it’s not surprising she wants to be involved.

  9. ??? June 10, 2020

lmaoooo she didnt even sell 1000 copies of that gift flop, wtf is Disney thinking, they must be trying to dump some stock or something if theyre thinking of doing business with this flop lmaooooo
