YG Forced To Axe #BlackLivesMatter Protest, Releases New Song ‘FTP (F**k The Police)’ [Listen]

Published: Tuesday 2nd Jun 2020 by Sam

Rapper YG had announced plans to protest the deaths of unarmed Black civilians George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and more. Yet, moments ago he revealed that official concerns over safety has forced its cancellation.

Stressing that he “couldn’t wait for the label,” the MC still found an output to pour out his views in the form of new track ‘FTP.’

An acronym for “F**k The Police,” the fiery track sees the star declare “this sh*t must stop.”

The release arrives on #BlackoutTuesday – a day when the entertainment industry at large has agreed that #TheShowMustBePaused in recognition of the need for racial equality.
