‘The Wild Card’: Ledisi Reveals New Album’s Artwork & Release Date

After watching her latest single, ‘Anything for You,’ rocket up the R&B chart rankings, 12-time GRAMMY nominee Ledisi lifts the lid on news surrounding its parent album, ‘The Wild Card.’

Details inside:

Slated to hit shelves August 28, the project comes as her 9th official studio effort and follows the 2017 critically acclaimed, ‘Let Love Rule.’

‘Wild Card’ – released under her own Listen Back Entertainment imprint – lives up to its title as it is her first project unveiled outside of her longtime label home, Verve Forecast, since 2002.

As you are NOT black – you spend a concerning amount of time talking about what the black community does and does not do. Maybe if you spent the same energy on your family and lack of friends and job you wouldn’t have so much time on your hands 🤷🏾‍♂️

I have ended u, sit down and eat ur food.
Ur projecting, this has nothing to do with me but u have tried to somehow make it about it.

Exactly, she deserved at least four of those she was nominated for.

      • AJ June 23, 2020

        She doesn’t deserve anything

She’s amazing! this lady had a beautiful voice, great control and can sang!! It’s a shame she doesn’t get enough recognition.. I don’t know it’s a case of not getting the best writers, team or whatever.. It’s a shame.

She probably should do like a mini cinematic LIVE YouTube concert of her greatest hits to reintroduce herself. Something like what Chole and Halle did for the class of 2020 special.
