Trina is apologizing afresh after branding race rioters “animals.”
As reported, the rapper has been at the receiving end of heavy criticism following an explosive rant on her Miami morning show.
Despite calls from co-host Trick Daddy to simmer down and see the situation from a different perspective, the fiery femcee raged on suggesting that it’s Black people destroying Black businesses. Including her friend’s.
She added that she wouldn’t be scared if she got stopped by the police because she has her “license and registration.”
All while the world at large is engaged in a deep debate about racial injustice, following the death of George Floyd – an unarmed Black man – at the hands of a Minnesota police officer.
Having initially apologized on her show, Trina has issued a written statement.

Trinas birth year was listed as 1980 for yeaaaarrrrrssss. I was under the impression that she was turning 40 this year. Idk when her real birthdate was revealed but it blew me away. If you don’t understand what she was saying, you’re not trying to understand what she was saying. Her words were only offensive if you’re someone who excuses the actions of the looters, and I don’t know how you can do that when black business owners are on TV in tears about what has happened to them. The whole point of the movement is to protect black lives and put an end to racist practices that prevent blacks from getting ahead. That means we should protect black businesses and jobs by denouncing looting as something that is beneath us (animalistic behavior). There are black people like the shop owner Trina mentioned who now don’t have a job to go back to or the money to rebuild in the middle of a pandemic. THEY are the ones owed an apology!
