Tekashi 6ix9ine promised the follow-up to his latest Hot 100 top 5 hit, ‘Gooba,’ would “break the internet.”
And, if the response to the tune, titled ‘TROLLZ,’ is any indication, he may have been correct.
Tapping his ‘FEFE’ co-star, Nicki Minaj, to assist, the highly anticipated song was released at 12a EST Friday (June 12) and by 12:20a it had already soared to the top of real-time iTunes sales tallies.
Benefitting from a $.69 sale, the charity single will reportedly see 20% of its proceeds (which also includes merchandise) go to The Bail Project Inc. – an organization that offers free bail assistance to low-income persons awaiting trial.

As 6ix9ine has historically been a leader on streaming platforms, the discounted single – in conjunction with numbers from YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music – should spell well for ‘TROLLZ’ upon its debut week on the Billboard and may even help him land that ever elusive Hot 100 #1 placement.
