Big Sean is opening up about the death of former girlfriend Naya Rivera.
As widely reported, the 33-year-old ‘Glee’ actress lost her life after drowning in Lake Piru on July 8th.
After authorities found her four-year old son safe on the boat the star had rented, the search for her launched immediately and quickly shifted from a rescue mission to a recovery effort. Her remains were found six days later.
Now rapper Sean, who had a much-publisized romance, engagement, and fall-out with Rivera has broken his silence on the tragedy.
His words below…
Taking to Instagram, the MC (who dated Rivera from 2013-2014) said:
“Rest In Peace Naya, God Bless your Soul! Thank you for blessing us all with your talent and presence. you are a hero! Not just because of how you saved your son, also because of the barriers you knocked down for so many people to make them feel confident in themselves and to stand tall and be proud when they couldn’t achieve that on their own. I appreciate and cherish everything that ever happened between us for making me wiser and a better person. I’m still grieving and in shock, I can’t believe this is real. I’m praying for you and your family and I know your watching over them and protecting them. Rest In Peace Naya 💙🙏🏾”
Our thoughts remain with Naya’s loved ones.
He needs to stfu, didn’t he do a diss track about her.
They ended on bad terms. People fight and even grow to dislike each other. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t care that she tragically DIED. Have a seat.
He can write RIP and move on not these long essay like he cared.
He called these woman all types of crazy and b**** in his songs which might have made her life difficult at that time regarding how men treat women in these industry.

And maybe in the meanwhile, they cleared up their feud privately.
But this is where people should think long term. You never know what tomorrow is made of. So if you truly care about someone, don’t talk BS about them.
His diss track was pretty much for attention. And let’s not forget he started seeing Ariana while he was still with her. Shame on her as well…
