The war with Billboard chart competition isn’t the only one the 40-year-old is addressing. Not even a month after taking to Twitter to slam his longtime label home, Atlantic Records, for practices he deemed racist, he took to the same platform to issue an apology on Wednesday (July 1).
Good for him, I’m glad he has seen the errors of his ways.

He used the attention of BLM to accuse the label of being racist, but now he isn’t willing to follow through and give up what he has at the label to stand by those accusations. That makes him a sellout, and for that I think the strike he called for should be against all new music he releases.
