Months after releasing his latest album, ‘Funeral,’ Lil Wayne is eyeing his next project.

In an interview with Variety, Weezy was asked which of his iconic albums in ‘Tha Carter’ series was his favorite.

He had this to say:

“My favorite Carter album is the next one.” 

The latest installment in ‘Tha Carter’ series arrived in September 2018 in the form of ‘Tha Carter V.’ The project was a huge success, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Additionally, the album earned the second-largest streaming week for an album of all time.

Here’s to hoping it arrives sooner rather than later.
