Adele Celebrates “What Would Be” Notting Hill Carnival Day In London

Published: Sunday 30th Aug 2020 by Sam

Adele isn’t letting the global health crisis rain on her parade.

The freshly svelte ‘Hello’ singer shared the shot of herself above in commemoration of what would have been day one of London’s world-renowned Notting Hill Carnival – which takes place annually.

As reported, the physical celebration was postponed until 2021 due to health concerns. Instead, the festivities have moved to virtual terrain this year.

Still, in keeping to the theme (which celebrates Caribbean and Black music more broadly), Adele rocked a Jamaican flag and bantu knots.

Head below to see what she captioned the snap…

“Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London 🇬🇧🇯🇲”

Got to love her!

Waiting for some fool to shout “cultural appropriation!” even though it’s about celebrating the culture 🙄

Nah…’tis only you, Q****. A bi-racial fool through and through. Give the race baiting a rest and seek professional help.

*sighs* I understand she probably means no harm but she didnt have to wear the flag or have bantu knots. It just reads badly.

She looks a mess fashion-wise. But the weight loss ages her needs more fat in her face. She reached the ripe old age of 32 guarantee her musical direction will be changing.

  12. Oh plz August 30, 2020

She looks good. Haters are just overweight, unmotivated and jealous.

The slim clones Adele is really feeling herself.
This is tacky for a few reasons. 1) she isn’t Jamaican, so wearing that particular flag when carnival is more a Caribbean thing (Trini) just screams uneducated.
If she was Jamaican that she would at least be representing.
    2) The hair made it even more extra than it needed to be. Bantu knots although a regular style isn’t indicative of carnival.
    3) You can always tell the people who don’t have a diverse group of friends who will tell you to kick back.
The simple bikini and shoulder piece would’ve been fine.
    This clone is faulty.
