Adele isn’t letting the global health crisis rain on her parade.
The freshly svelte ‘Hello’ singer shared the shot of herself above in commemoration of what would have been day one of London’s world-renowned Notting Hill Carnival – which takes place annually.
As reported, the physical celebration was postponed until 2021 due to health concerns. Instead, the festivities have moved to virtual terrain this year.
Still, in keeping to the theme (which celebrates Caribbean and Black music more broadly), Adele rocked a Jamaican flag and bantu knots.

This is tacky for a few reasons. 1) she isn’t Jamaican, so wearing that particular flag when carnival is more a Caribbean thing (Trini) just screams uneducated.
If she was Jamaican that she would at least be representing.
2) The hair made it even more extra than it needed to be. Bantu knots although a regular style isn’t indicative of carnival.
3) You can always tell the people who don’t have a diverse group of friends who will tell you to kick back.
The simple bikini and shoulder piece would’ve been fine.
