After initial murmurs (which, at the time, were denied), organizers for London’s largest street party have announced that it indeed will not be going ahead this year due to COVID-19.
A statement read:
A staple on the country’s cultural calendar, the August extravaganza has become world-renowned over its 50+ years.
Following in the steps of the Essence Music Festival, Glastonbury, Wireless, and more, the Notting Hill Carnival will now return in 2021.
