CeeLo Green Apologizes to Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, & Megan Thee Stallion After Slamming Their Sexual Content

Published: Wednesday 12th Aug 2020 by Rashad

“F*** You” singer Cee Lo Green had fans of Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Megan Thee Stallion saying just that to him after he branded the ladies’ respective expressions of sexuality as ‘desperate’ (as we reported here).

Now, after drawing harsh criticism from the rappers’ fans and supporters for his “misguided” his weigh in, the Gnarls Barkley leader is reeling back the comments.

Taking to social media Wednesday (August 12), Green stated:

“There seems to be a misunderstanding with a quote taken from an interview I did a few days ago while promoting my new project,” he started. “Firstly, I’m an advocate of artistic freedom and expression as well as a fan of Nicki, Cardi & Meagan [sic]. I know most of them personally and consider Cardi & Offset family. Therefore, I would never disrespect them by any means.”

That’s not all he said. Look inside for the full statement:

he’s not wrong though. There is no differenxe between p*** and music Videos these days. 5 years in the future they will be shoving d***** in their p****** in a music Video while “rapping” about some stuff and then act as if they ended slavery, because they allegedly celebrated the female body…

I don’t thin anyone should be pressed about this, it comes with an adult rating, you choose want you want, nobody forces one to digest this.

Haha it is too late now. We all know he watched each video about 69 times before he decided to have a voice…. Shoot we all know what you did. You should stay quiet on these matters for the rest of your life. -_-

    He didn’t say anything wrong.

Those chicks are the puppets white executives use to represent black women. Since they would do anything for money they will continue to give this bad image.

      💯📠

    • #TheTruth August 13, 2020

Exactly. They are doing nothing new to own their image as a woman yet doing things differently than just being a h.o.e on camera. They are just pleasing everyone wanted to s€xualize them.

Actually megan develops and her skills became better. But Cardi did it by herself as well. It’s not like she came out off a wealthy family.

I was just laughing at the fact that cee-lo wrote her name wrong and then said that he knows her.

Of course you ask your homies to stop calling your wife a ho. Her ho-ism is the source of your bag. You’s a pimp. Cee-Lo WAS right.

I’d love to be a fly on Cardi b’s wall to get a good look of her face reading the part where this fool calls himself “family” after trying to drag her lol shut up r***** scum

He did it for the press, the free pub, this wasn’t about the backlash. he came and accomplished what he sat out to do like I said to get that free pub because you know once you mention especially Nicki’s name you know that’s free pub.

He was right in the opinion he expressed and he should not have been pressured to apologize. He’s also right when he says these women are influential, but it’s not a good influence by any means. They are advocates of misogyny and deserve neither praise nor apology from those who speak truth.
