Alicia Keys may have watched her latest album, ‘ALICIA,’ soar to top 5 status on this week’s Billboard 200 after an aggressive promotional campaign in its support (as we reported here), but the 15-time GRAMMY winner is showing no signs of slowing down on the trail.
One of the latest bids to ensure its prolonged tenure on the chart comes courtesy of a behind the scenes look at the music video of the LP’s current single, ‘Love Looks Better.’
Video In-Article Ad (Desktop)Two weeks after unveiling the song live at the 2020 NFL Kickoff Concert (as we reported here), Keys introduced its official accompanying clip steered by ‘Love & Basketball’ director Gina Prince-Bythewood. Now, as the tune and its attached visual continue to garner critical acclaim, the star has invited fans to take a peek at how the action came to be.

“Perfect Way to Die” is the only video I liked from this album. But I do have to say, I listened to “Alicia” over the last two days and it’s not as bad as I expected it to be. The songs don’t work all that great out of context, but as a whole body of work, I have a much better understanding of the sound and theme Alicia wanted to achieve with the album. It’s far from my favorite and I can do without 3 or 4 songs, but it’s not so bad that I can toss it aside and forget about it like I did with “Here”.
I love “Authors Of Forever” and “3 Hour Drive.” Hopefully they’ll be singles and get video treatments. I don’t understand why her team chose such blah songs as initial singles when she has such gems on the album. Ugh 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I agree. “Authors of Forever” is one of my top favorites.
Alicia Keys is so full of s*** and this website is so full of s***
