On Thursday (September 10), Alicia Keys and Chloe x Halle helped the NFL turn its annual kickoff event into a celebration of Black excellence and an opportunity to shed a spotlight on social injustice.
While the sister act took to the event to render a haunting rendition of the U.S. National Anthem (while donning George Floyd and Breonna Taylor t-shirts), Keys delivered a moving rendition of the Negro National Anthem – ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing.’

Elsewhere in the broadcast, Keys unveiled the first live performance of her new single – the Ryan Tedder-penned ‘Love Looks Better.’
Using the platform to encourage viewers to vote, the 15-time GRAMMY winner preceded the showing by announcing her new partnership with the NFL – a $1 billion endowment fund to support Black businesses and communities.
“We are already seeing the blatant injustices that are going on around us,” Keys told Billboard. “As an artist, I’m always thinking about how can I use my platform to further racial equity. This fund is one of the answers and our goal is to empower Black America through investing in black businesses, black investors, institutions, entrepreneurs, schools and banks in a way to create sustainable solutions.”

I love Chloe and Halle, but it is CLEAR that Halle doesn’t want to do this. I’m convinced she’s only supporting her sister and chloe will eventually go solo. You can see in every performance and every photo shoot that Halle is uncomfortable. Bless her.
All of that to say I loved their rendition of the star spangled banner, and enjoyed the performance. But I stand by my OPINION that Halle doesn’t want to do this.
I disagree. After the live-action little mermaid is released, Halle is going to become a world a SUPERSTAR. You mark my words. Chloe has more confidence and stage presence of course, but Halle’s look and voice have an innocence about them which will likely appeal to a very broad audience.
You sound riduculous if you think that just because the older one comes across as more seasoned as far a Show Business and stage presence that Halle is the weaker link and doesnt want to be there. To me Halle is the more Beautiful Natural one in terms overall appeal, no need to try as hard as Chloe does. Naturally she has swagger and is COOLER and more laid back than Chloe. Halle has more of the authentic star quality.
Chloes edge is stronger Performer/Dancer/producer, but vocally they are equal so neither is more deserving of going Solo.
Alicia looked lovely but sis needs a vocal coach bad. How you got Grammy’s but tone deaf as hell.

What excites me most about Chloe X Halle is not only are they starting to become more radio friendly, Not only is Chloe a Phenomenal Writer/producer, Not only is the Little Mermaid about to Blow Halle threw the roof, but they’re not Even in their VOCAL PRIME yet (which will happen when they are Mid-Late 20s).
Alicia Keys needs to get some younger fans and Chloe x Halle needs any fans as they don’t sell sh|t.

Even tho they are under beyonce’s wing, they are not making beyonce kind of music, they are not copying beyonce or impersonating beyonce, they have their own original unique style, unlike that flop called normani who wants to be beyonce so bad.
Copying everything about beyonce, from beyonce’s hair styles to beyonce’s dance moves, to beyonce’s poses to the way beyonce talks.
And her fans wonder why her career has not taken of after all the hype and cosign from everybody in the industry.
