Chart Check: Chloe x Halle Hit Career Hot 100 Peak Due to ‘Do It’ Remix

Published: Tuesday 15th Sep 2020 by Rashad

From ‘Do It’ to done it, sister act Chloe x Halle can check off a new milestone on their growing list of achievements thanks to their breakthrough hit.

After watching the Victoria Monet-penned tune earn the honor of becoming their first Hot 100 entry (as we reported here), the win assisted its parent album, ‘Ungodly Hour,’ in clocking their highest placement on the Billboard 200 to date (as we reported here).

Though it slipped off the singles chart in the weeks that followed its arrival, ‘Do It’ has rebounded with a vengeance thanks to assistance from its femcee-loaded remix which includes contributions from Doja Cat, Mulatto, and City Girls.

Curious to see where the girl -powered revamp got the Parkwood pair on the refreshed Hot 100? Look inside to see:

The #63 placement on the refreshed Hot 100 marks Chloe x Halle’s highest rung reached to date on the tally (as of time reported).

Though the tune’s guests are not credited for the boost on this week’s print, they may be added at a later time.

They are still ramping up. Give them another album or two.

The way the black community keeps paying these girls dust, instead yall would rather stan f******* who cant sing.

    U see the problem.

Chloe and halle are different and unique, black people dont like things that are different or unique or out of the box.

Sorry. Cute talented girls but their vocal arrangements don’t connect. Especially as a unit. They’ll excel apart

imo, the reason why Chloe X Halle aren’t actually”hitting” like they should be hitting is because they each have what the other Lacks…

While they both can be Sultry Chloe’s voice is overly Husky and Weighted down while Halles voice is overly Agile or should I say limited in it’s agile jazzy angelic quality. Thus they are very codependent of eachother and as an entire act it’s like both of them are HALF beyonce’s but Together they are still half azzed beyonce’s too because they’re role in eachothers lives is to use eachother as stepping Stones until one or both of them is talented or interesting enough to be a SOLOISTS.

I actually agree with this statement.
