The persistence of Nicki Minaj fans, affectionately called #Barbz, has finally paid off.
After what seemed like endless quizzing from the diehard fan group, EDM trio Major Lazer (comprised of Diplo, Walshy Fire, and Ape Drums) have given an update about the status of their long-teased tune with the Harajuku Barbie.
Taking to Twitter Friday (September 4), they offered confirmation the song is coming…very soon!

With Nigerian hitmaker K4mo filling out the performance roster, the tune – ‘Oh My Gawd’ – will have fans saying just that once it arrives September 10, per the announcement seen above.
It is expected to be one of many gems set to line the trio’s forthcoming effort, ‘Lazerism.’
Another song that will free fall in week 2 for her to add to her tarnished discography. Mess.

Is that all she does now features? I was listening to the pink print really good album lord knows why she went left field after that.
She has always been a feature artist. Her solo Singles overall (except a des obviously) have been mostly mediocre successful. And her impact and chart success majorly ist based in the fact that she flooded the market with features. That Woman ist talented though and most of her albums we’re good, not great, but her status comes off of her features and therefore the huge amount of songs.
Pinkprint was so good. I feel like if she dropped that now she would do really good maybe even get all the accolades that people make fun of her for not getting now that streaming and bundles count towards everything

Ya’ll really act as if Nicki is doing these features for free. First of all, she’s highly sought after. Secondly, she’s doing what she loves and collecting a check.. Not everything is meant to be a “mega hit” on the charts. The same charts ya’ll idolize are the same charts that glorify mediocrity & that will chew ur faves up and spit them out for the next industry puppet.
Nickinis doing all these features because she only cost a couple thousands and she draws initial media coverage but once the song is out she always lacks. Qt least lately she has, she isn’t as sought out as she used, people just have the means.
🤔 Nicki is NOT doing anybodies record for just a few thousand. There may be times where she may hop on some records for fun but best believe she’s being compensated accordingly. Say what you want about Nicki, but one things for certain, she’s very busines savvy and she knows her worth. Which is one of the main reasons she’s still in the game and still highly respected by her peers.
