#ENDSARS: Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Joe Biden & More Call For The End Of Police Brutality In Nigeria After Shocking Shooting Of Protesters

Published: Wednesday 21st Oct 2020 by Sam

Shock and dismay has spread worldwide after scenes of police brutality in Nigeria went viral.

Already deemed #BlackTuesdayNigeria, the globe has watched on in horror as innocent, peaceful protestors were shot dead by officials in Lekki — simply for demanding the end of SARS (a forceful and corrupt police division).

Now, a growing of names – including Rihanna and Nicki Minaj – are uniting as one voice with Nigerians to call for the end of the violence.

See what they had to say below…

Rihanna

“I can’t bare to see this torture and brutalization that is continuing to affect nations across our planet! It’s such a betrayal to the citizens, the very people put in place to protect are the ones we are most afraid of being murdered by! My heart is broken for Nigerian man!! It is unbearable to watch! I’m so proud of your strength and no letting up on the fight for wha’s right! #ENDSARS”

Nicki Minaj

“Standing with & praying for the brave young people of Nigeria who are on the front lines of this senseless violence. Your voice is being heard. Flag of Nigeria #EndSARS

Meanwhike Beyonce who just made a s*** ton of money using Nigerians in her Black is King has yet to even say anything. PATHETIC. The whole world cried and cried and spoke up, even protested when they killed George Floyd. We can do the same especially when we’re calling for an end for the same type of police brutality happening here. No she herself cant end the injustice or save the nation, all they ask is that you use some of that star power to bring light to whats happening in Nigeria. She had the biggest production this year with her movie that was full of Nigerians but cant even put up a hashtag to sprea the word. Sad. And ppl tried to attack Tiwa Savage for saying something about it. She wasnt asking much. The celebrities above are doing their part without cashing 100 million dollar check. But I bet you she will post a fake ass letter on post after the facts now that others have start to speak up. Got the time to promote a clothing line when the world is upside down but cant take a minute show support to a group of people who help put her disney project together. Stans

“The celebrities above are doing the part”. Lmao, girl huh? The fact that you’ve decided that you can judge someone’s commitment to any cause by their activity on Instagram tells me that you don’t care either. There wasn’t one genuine sentence in this comment. Stop holding celebrities responsible for your social and political agendas; especially when they’ve contributed more to social and political causes than you EVER have. They aren’t obligated to be your mouthpiece. If you really cared, you could’ve taken this opportunity to spread awareness yourself. Clearly, that wasn’t a priority. “Beyoncé got the time for a clothing line (That is, her job) but can’t take a minute” lmao, shut up. You could’ve kept the 20 minutes you spent writing this dumb ass comment and did something productive for society, but you didn’t. You, who isn’t drastically changing anyone’s standards of living or inspiring significant change in any capacity, thought it was appropriate to ask someone who has, why they aren’t being an activist in a way that you approve of. Who do you think you are

Actually she did say something you dunce. Everyone knows that she does most of her work in private. What will posting online do? Quite frankly none of these celebrities are obligated to say or do anything. What are YOU doing is the question? Stop placing these high expectations on these celebrities. People like you are the same ones who trash talk Beyoncé along with other celebs yet sit on this internet and ask what she’s doing and why hasn’t she said anything 🙄.

Virtue signalling solves nothing. Just like all you fools who did nothing but post a black square on Instagram and then felt as though you’d change the world.

And what about the torturing and mass murdering of whites in South Africa? Oh I forgot, they’re white, they don’t matter…

But yet Rihanna wants to put down the Muslims, that girl is a mess.
