New Video: Miguel – ‘Funeral’

Published: Friday 9th Oct 2020 by Sam

As the age old adage goes – better late than never.

And it’s a memo Miguel is adhering to.

Because a year after releasing the song ‘Funeral,’ the eclectic crooner has unleashed its accompanying video.

Directed by Philippa Price and Nina McNeely, the black and white visual is an edgy affair that dabbles in the dark, the sensual, and the dramatic.

Watch Miguel like you’ve never seen him below…

    Awkward.

I can count likeable male voices on one hand …. and he’d be Top 3.

Too bad no commercial success led him to this cacaphony. Sadly, he’s not hot enough to pull off artistic whimsy.

Very dark, made me feel some type of way. I like it tho, he definitely tapped into something different. I’m here for it! 😁

    Why???

I feel like this would actually work if it was part of a visual album.

Nice song..just a bit to demented for my liking. The Illuminati Conspiracists are going to have a field day with this one. Compare this song to Adorn, and seems like to different artist. Overall..not mad at the song….I welcome creativity as he has been creative out the gate…just the visual i’m not feeling.
