‘Midnight Sky’ has taken Miley Cyrus from the MTV Video Music Awards to the iHeartRadio Music Festival and beyond in its promotion – a journey that’s helped hoist it to a #1 peak on Worldwide iTunes as well as a Hot 100 height of #14.

To help the Disco/New Wave-tinged tune (the first single from her forthcoming LP ‘She Is Miley Cyrus’) return to its former chart glory, Cyrus continues her promotional onslaught in its support.

Her latest effort sees her team with MTV to reboot its legendary ‘MTV Unplugged’ show.

Details inside:

A socially distanced, global health crisis friendly spin on the legendary acoustic series, Miley will bring the action to her backyard with ‘MTV Unplugged Presents Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions.’

Airing October 16 at 7 pm EST, the feature will mark the diva’s second time on the platform (having previously appeared on ‘Unplugged’ alongside Queen of Pop Madonna in 2014).

In addition to tackling her own hits, Miley will lend her soaring vocals to the likes of Britney Spears’ ‘Blackout’ banger ‘Gimme More’ and smashes from Pearl Jam, The Cardigans, and more.
