“I want to say this. With this album, with everything, I’m never taking a long break again. You probably from now on, at least for the next decade, you’re never going to go more than four or five months without a new Lil Nas X song or feature. Yeah, let’s say that. Let’s say that.”

The GRAMMY winner then went on to reveal if there will be any features on his upcoming album, saying:

“I kept features to a minimum. I just feel like I really want to give people me and just me on some of these, because I feel like, especially with singles last time, I always followed up with a feature or a remix. And it’s like, ‘Okay, no, here’s my song. It’s just me here. You’re going to love this. Here you go.’ And some songs I honestly just feel like, okay, this doesn’t need anything else.”

While the ‘Old Town Road’ rapper did not reveal anything else about his new music, he previously revealed in an Instagram live video that his next single will be ‘Call Me By Your Name’ (as we reported here).

Holiday flopped so it’s no reason to come out every 4 months we don’t care hence the single flop 😂😂

He also peaked to quick its downhill from here old town road was a gift and a curse

    • TORi November 16, 2020

I don’t think he even peaked. I would say he was never meant to be a star and this is all just leading up to be a misguided career move that’s going to end in him owing alot of back pay.

Umm old town road was number 1 like 19 weeks he peaked will never have another song like that that’s why i say that song was so huge he’ll always be compared to it gift and a curse

While I admire hit trying to strike while the iron WAS hot, he definitely missed his chance and whatever other chances he may have had, he lost by waiting to reveal he was actually a flamboyant feminine butch. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but the imagery switch up came out of no where and the LGBTQ community slanders their man from his looks to the music to the stunning of Nicki to even breathing so they’re not on your side as far as an audience goes. “OLD Town Road’s” success should’ve lead into other career ventures that are more stable and lucrative but trying to stay within the realm of the industry is probably the dumbest idea long term wise. The machine behind himself is more than likely going to roll him in the next 3-5 years when the money comes to a complete stop because it started slowing down last year.

You know this because you’re an industry expert?

      • TORi November 16, 2020

I know this because it’s happening right before our f****** eyes. His time has come and gone, not even big name features helped him see an eighth of the success of OTR. Expecting to flood the market when the interest isn’t even there and there’s no direct fanbase or attention from the general public is disastrous. No one even cares about the music he’s been previewing or the single he dropped and the label is going to get tired of spending all their money for studio sessions, writers and producers and big budget video shoots for songs under 3 minutes with no financial return.
