Winner’s List: 2020 American Music Awards [#AMAs]

Published: Sunday 22nd Nov 2020 by Rashad

The American Music Awards 2020 were held earlier tonight live at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The Taraji P. Henson-hosted ceremony had many-a-highlight thanks to jaw-dropping performances from the likes of Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, BTS, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and many more (as we reported here), but the biggest star of the show – as expected – remained the awards themselves.

  5. Jay November 23, 2020

Doja Cat and The Weeknd are not soul artist. Wtf they don’t even sing like that fr. They could’ve given that award to an actual soul singer.

  6. Jay November 23, 2020

That’s like BET nominating and giving Lady GaGa “Best Country Artist” even though she clearly does not sing country. It’s so prejudice

    • i hate whytte n blllacc bitchexxx November 23, 2020

you guys should stop watching the AMas duh or maybe your black artists should stop going to the show then..duhhhhhhh

All of the winners are invited to the royal party. Congrats! 🙂

Justin Bieber, The Prince of Pop, has extended his AMA wins to 18, tying Lionel Richie with only Kenny Rogers and Michael Jackson ahead of them in the solo male category and Taylor Swift now has 32 (I think) extending her lead of most AMA wins in history. Noted royalty The Weeknd and Lady Gaga add to their AMA totals as well. I’m sure there will be articles written about this. 🙂

The fact that Doja Cat was nominated in a Soul/R&B category is baffling!! It’s shows how f****** out of touch these award shows are. Jhene, Kehlani and Summer ran R&B this year. Those shoulda been the nominees. Wow.

  9. Chez November 23, 2020

The Weekend and Doja Cat aren’t rnb artists lol🤦‍♂️
