Jessie J Spent Left Struggling To Hear After Being Diagnosed With Meniere’s Disease

Published: Monday 28th Dec 2020 by Ryan

Jessie J is on the mend after experiencing a scary incident on Christmas Eve.

More details below…

The singer took to Instagram to reveal that she was sent to the hospital on Christmas Eve, where she was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease – an inner-ear condition that can cause vertigo – that left her deaf an unable to walk properly.

Taking to her Instagram stories, she said:

“I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, couldn’t walk in a straight line. Basically I got told I had Meniere’s syndrome.”

“It could be way worse, it is what it is. I’m super grateful for my health. It just threw me off. On Christmas Eve I was in the ear hospital going, ‘What is going on?’ But I’m glad I went early and they worked out what it was real quick and I got put on the right medicine, so I feel a lot better today.”

In another post, the ‘Bang Bang’ singer described her experience with the condition, saying:

“When I sing loud, it sounds like there’s someone trying to run out of my ear… I am now watching ‘Queen’s Gambit’ with my finger in my ear. I’ve done the first episode four times because I [have] zero focus and my ear sounds like someone crawled in and turned a hairdryer on.”

Still, she remained positive, saying:

“Sending LOVE to everyone who needs it, is or isn’t alone. We all need some extra love. This Christmas might be a little off. BUT one in a lifetime isn’t bad when some people haven’t had one good one in their lifetime. Think about what you do have this week, not what you don’t.”

Sad. Sending her prayers and well wishes. She’s had several health issues, including heart problems. She’s so young to be dealing with this. Wishing her well

Thank you for not coming to this comment section and not wishing ill on someone!

      Normally it’s this complete opposite.

So true, there’s too many haters on this website. I don’t understand why people feel that need to gossip and talk s*** on artists they don’t like, it’s such a toxic behavior that says a lot about them.

@Incognitive haters like you, you mean? Lawd you are crazy.

      • Incognito December 28, 2020

I don’t think so Dolly, I never hate on any artist even if I’m not enjoying their music because i’m not as stupid as you. I respect people’s taste, I respect every artist but I do have a problem with trolls like you.

@Incognitive a hater is a hater, no matter who they’re hating on. Just further proof you are incognitive.

      • Incognito December 28, 2020

Stay pressed Dolly, that won’t stop me from continuing to put you in your place every time you spread your hatred.

      • Shayla Queen 👑 December 28, 2020

        By spreading hatred, hater.

      • Incognito December 28, 2020

😂 you have no idea how entertaining it is to watch a hater like you being so pressed, you get what you give Dolly.

Her last post was so well said. Hope she gets well soon.

I feel sad for her, as an independant artist my biggest fear is to lose hearing or speech but the worst would certainly to lose hearing. A world without music would be a waking nightmare. I wish her all the best.

      Wish off.

I swear karma is going to charge you up like crazy 😂 keep on burry yourself.

Sending prayers to whoever wrote the title because it’s a mess

Celine had a variation 2 yrs ago & needed surgery. Lara Fabian, too, even if hers stems from an earpiece electrocution. Seems all high belters get it eventually. Except Mimi Vanilli because cut’n pasted 90’s climaxes. Fast recovery, stratospheric vocalists!
