They are marketing her as a ground breaking artist and a massive success when in reality shes a generic artist who uses payola and her album is a massive flop
And? She’s still a talented one, her music is still great, we are still going to listen to her music and she will keep on releasing new music in the future so what’s the point of repeating the same things?

If the album sells 1 million or more next year then it will be platinum in the U.S. According to Hits Daily Double the album has sold 889,000. Platinum status is on its way. The fact that you keep on answering only to people that attack Camila says it all… you never answer to me because you do like fueling the fire and create tensions here, it’s sad. When Future Nostalgia was released I knew (I mean, like all of us) that Kylie was working on a new disco album and I was telling to myself that maybe these two ladies will work together in the future and here it is ☺

You’re right that’s not hate, it’s just a personal opinion. I personaly think she has a nice and distinctive voice, she could sing any song that I don’t know already with my eyes closed and I’m sure I would immediatly know that it’s her. I also think she made some progress on that stage presence which is something difficult to get when it’s not natural for you to do the show and I know that better than anyone… I have no problem with my voice’s skills but my stage presence is terrible 😅 I look like a zombie, it’s a lot of work and I think she’s getting better and better. Let us be patient with her on that, she’s young and at the beginning of her career.
PS: I keep it cool, try not to play the hater card but you do call her “Dua La Peep” like Wendy Williams who can’t stand her and that’s not what I call respect 😉 no shade, i’m just being realistic.
Well, apparently Dua knows Wendy didn’t get her name and called her Dua La Peep and she likes that nickname. Wendy said it during an episode.
And no matter what the situation is with Wendy, I think the nickname sounds funny, it doesn’t mean I feel the same as Wendy, just to make it clear.
Anyway, Dua’s vocals are very weak. It doesn’t mean her songs are enjoyable. But as far as I’m concerned, and it’s my own tastes, I like people with bigger voices.

I honestly love both of them, Rita music is so good too 🤩 Dua first album is clearly not my favorite one but I do love a lot songs like “New Rules”, “Genesis” and “Begging” which sounds amazing to me. Future Nostalgia is really the album I stan since its release, I love absolutely all of the songs and yep, Phoenix is certainly very good too.
