As reported, the British belter and Konecki announced the end of their seven year relationship in April 2019.
Yet, given the enormity of her success among other variables, it was unsurprising that the pair had much to wade through before reaching an ultimate agreement.
And at long last, that moment has materialized.
The pair – who are parents to 8-year-old son Angelo – filed a judgement packet with the court in Los Angeles on today (January 22). It’s expected to be signed by a judge imminently, thus formally dissolving their marriage.
Today’s news comes as anticipation reaches fever-pitch for the songbird’s fourth studio album.
Following an appearance on Saturday Night Live last October, Adele seemed to confirm that the follow-up to 2015’s ’25’ is arriving in 2021. Indeed, she signed off by saying “peace out…’til next year.”
