Dr. Dre Agrees To Pay Estranged Wife $2 Million In Temporary Support As Divorce Battle Rages On After Brain Aneurysm

Dr. Dre may be recovering from a brain aneurysm, but that hasn’t put an immediate hold on his divorce proceedings with wife Nicole Young.

Full story below…

The blazing back and forth between the couple – who have been married since 1996 – has been well-documented.

But it looks like there’s a ceasefire of sorts…for now.

According to TMZ, the Hip-Hop mogul has agreed to pay his estranged wife $2 million in temporary spousal support. He isn’t, however, going to pony up the $5 million she’s requesting for her divorce attorney fees.
Per the latest agreement, it’ll see Dre sign a one-time check for the $2 million and that will be all he’ll hand over until the outcome of their next court hearing in April.

Many will recall that Young initially demanded $2 million per month as well as her attorney costs (which are more than double that sum…at a separate cost).

Time will tell where the final settlement ends up.

Until then, Dre will continue to pay Young’s living expenses at her Malibu home; while other costs covered include her Mom’s  Pacific Palisades residence.

As for her requests for security, that will have to be deducted from the $2 million.

Oh the drama.
