New Video: Ariana Grande – ’34+35 (Remix)’ [featuring Doja Cat & Megan Thee Stallion]

Published: Friday 12th Feb 2021 by Rashad

After ample teasing, Ariana Grande‘s finally lifted the lid on the highly anticipated music video for the remix to her ‘Positions’ hit single, ’34+35.’

Ahead of assistance from its megastar features Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion, the Peter Lee Johnson-produced bop had already enjoyed a run in the Hot 100’s top 10.  Their additions not only helped it leap to a new peak of #2 on the tally, but also into Billboard history books (as we reported here).

Now with a Stefan Kohli-directed music video in tow, the trio are hoping to make history as the second song featuring three or more female acts to top the chart (following 2001’s Christina Aguilera, P!nk, Mya, and Lil Kim megahit ‘Lady Marmalade’).

Will the visual provide just the boost needed? Watch it in full inside and tell us:

Cute. Not good or bad. But nothing groundbreaking for a collab of that magnitude. Could’ve at least gave me some cute choreo and 2 more different looks. Sh*t. Ari’s so funny tho lol

The song is just way too lackluster.
Not even a good video would help it.

Flop remix and boring video the original is way better
Also the song is nowhere to be found on iTunes or Apple Music
The original is in the top #80 in both chart lol

This wasn’t her best brand move. It’s not an actual remix and the line up isn’t magical. Nothing special came from this at all.

This should have been something fun for fans, not an official release. Doja sounds good on the beat but Megan sounds like she’s riding against it. But whatever, this was good “product placement” for Megan and Doja if nothing else…
