It’s that time of year again!
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced the list of notable names nominated up for induction into the Class of 2021.
And JAY-Z leads the pack.

HOV has made the 16-strong nominations list in his first year of eligibility. So have the Foo Fighters.
[Note: nominees are required to have a catalog dating back at least 25 years]
The rapper turned mega-mogul receives the nod after becoming the first MC inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017.
The full list, revealed moments ago, revealed the following are in contention for entry into the coveted Hall:
JAY-Z, Mary J. Blige, Kate Bush, Devo, Chaka Khan, Carole King, Dionne Warwick, LL Cool J, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, the Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, Fela Kuti, Todd Rundgren and Tina Turner.
The official induction announcement will be made in May after votes from industry folk are tallied. [A fan vote opens later today] Thereafter, the R&R Hall Of Fame 2021 Induction Ceremony will take place in the Fall.
Those inducted will join the elite list of past inductees, which includes Michael Jackson, Madonna, The Beatles, Janet Jackson, Notorious B.I.G, and Whitney Houston.
