Recording Academy executive Harvey Mason is speaking out.
He sat down with the LA Times, where he talked about this year’s ceremony. More importantly, he commented on Beyoncé‘s decision to not perform at the GRAMMY Awards.

“It’s unfortunate, because she’s such a big part of the Recording Academy. We absolutely wish we had her onstage.”
Queen Bey is the most nominated artist at this year’s awards. She scored nine nominations across various categories, including Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and more. Her nominations are split between her Megan Thee Stallion collaboration ‘Savage (Remix),’ ‘Black Parade,’ and Best Music Film for ‘Black Is King.’
Whether she performs or not, Beyoncé already made history with her nine nominations, as she became the most-nominated female artist ever.
Personally, we would have loved to see her and Meg light-up the stage with their ‘Savage (Remix).’

The Weeknd already exposed it. The Grammys have “special” committees that only nominate the people they want to win. That’s why she always gets 8-9 nominations every time she puts an album out, even if it flops. Has nothing to do with musical talent; her music is subpar at best, that’s why she doesn’t have a certified album in over a decade. Beyonce is all hype and back alley agreements.
I think beyonce is at a place where if she doesn’t get what she wants shes not doing it. I’m not surprised shes a artist and a meticulous virgo, she probably wanted to fly in on a helicopter and they said no and she said im not performing then. She knows her worth.
Beyonce is getting exactly what she wants. She wants to stay home with her children as she explained already. The award show whom ass she kissed all 2016 to be kicked to the curb to celebrate a white British woman who even stans Beyonce herself, will not change her mind.
Yeah It seems she’s finally ready for a real break. I think she’s over it. It’s like Adele said, what else does she have to do, like what do they want from her? The Grammys need her though. They have her close the show, just so people will stay and wait for her to perform. Nobody wants to watch an award show lineup of dababy, dua lipa, and Ariana grande. The thrill is gone.
The thrill has been good and The Grammys is part of that reason. They keep allowing these bullshìt artist give these half-assed performances no matter how much viewers ask for change or stop watching. But these artist are alot cheaper to book and don’t require much production so there’s that.

I truly adored Beyoncé in all of her accomplishments and seeing her perform on three Grammys stage will be a 💯+ for them because their ratings would shot thru the sky but in all honesty they have done her so wrong snubbing wise, even one of their own picks choices (Adele) spoke on it and I so agree. A few good artist 👩🎨 is now withdrawing from performance wise because of the many snubs, so I don’t blame Beyoncé the Grammys sucks big tome
