JB’s sixth LP arrived on March 19 and was supported by preceding singles such as ‘Holy,’ ‘Anyone,’ and ‘Peaches (ft. Giveon & Daniel Caesar)’ – the latter of which is projected to top the Billboard Hot 100.
All, it’s clear, created the perfect storm of buzz around the project which has stormed to #1 on the album tally with equivalent US first-week sales of 154,000.
Of that sum, streaming comprised the largest piece of the sales pie.
157.2 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs translated to 119,000 of the total sum.
Pure sales tallied 30,000, with other formats accruing 4,000.
After a strong start with the original incarnation of the album, Bieber is making a smart play for second-week success. Because, as reported, he unleashed a deluxe edition of ‘Justice’ featuring six new songs with the likes of DaBaby, Jaden, and Lil Uzi Vert.
