Taking to Twitter, the ‘Vibez’ singer shared that he “cried” while watching Blige’s acclaimed role in 2017’s ‘Mudbound.’

Her role in ‘Mudbound’ earned Blige two Oscar nominations. One was for Best Supporting Actress and the other was for Best Original Song for ‘Mighty River’ which she co-wrote.
Now it appears as though Blige has found herself a new fan. She has yet to respond to Malik’s tweet.

Mary was horrible in Power and Mudbound she really was coasting off everyone else’s performance. Mary is a one-dimensional actress with the same facial expression. She has never been a vocally gifted singer but she can connect with people through pain which is an art..I give her that.
