According to TMZ, the rapper has not regained brain activity since being hospitalized and key tests carried out yesterday (April 7) showed no change.
As reported, the star’s brain was deprived of oxygen for up to 30 minutes as paramedics tried to resuscitate him. And while that may not present as long on the clock, it is when considering how crucial each minute is for the possibility of recovery.
At the time of writing, DMX is still in a coma and yesterday’s test results were reportedly deemed “not good.”

I’m praying for his family. Being tasked with making the decision to pull the plug or not has to weigh heavier than we know. I sincerely pray that God gives them the strength to get through this, no matter what decision they make.
Bad week to be a Black rapper.
The problem is, even if he wakes up, no one knows to what extents his body will respond.
Of course I wish him well and a 100% recovery in no time.
But he could be (partially or not) paralyzed, have speech issues, memory loss or in the worst case, be like a vegetable and be a prisoner in his own body. And I wish that to no one.
So if we wakes up, I hope he’ll be or get to a good condition.
Prayers for him & his family & friends. Every time I hear a rap song that references DMX, I always think of the hardships he faced dealing with the music industry. The business made sure to take him down, jailed, no more money being made because no one would sign him. I think he was also a “lesson” to all upcoming artist s to do as your told …I have to wonder if he was given this lethal dose by some entity.
