Queen Naija and Ari Lennox have unwrapped their brand new collaboration ‘Set Him Up.’
The mid-tempo jam is one of five new additions to the deluxe edition of Naija’s debut album, which is being re-released as ‘missunderstood…still’ on April 16.
Over the course of the cut, the R&B belles trade verses about their lovers. Upon discovering that they’re both seeing the same bae, the pair hatch a sly plan to… set him up.
Speaking on the track, Naija said:
“I had so much fun recording this song with Ari! We started recording it a while back and I’m excited we were able to come together and get it finished. I know a lot of women who have actually realized they’re dating the same guy. We thought ‘Set Him Up’ would provide a fun take on this crazy kind of situation!”
