Quavo and Saweetie could soon be answering to the Los Angeles Police Department.
For, the police have opened an investigation into their elevator altercation.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ that detectives have seen the video and that cops want to meet with both parties, separately, to discuss the incident.
Sources say that the situation could be considered an instance of domestic violence, where both parties are in the wrong. Before they make any charges, the police want to know what led up to the altercation and what happened after it.
As for a criminal case, once their investigation is completed, they will likely turn it over to the City Attorney to review for possible changes.
Neither artist has spoken out on the incident since it surfaced.
