‘Love in the Club’ is exactly what Usher was accused of NOT showing at a Las Vegas gentleman’s venue recently, a feat that caused one of the resident exotic dancers to take to social media to put him on blast.

Suggesting the GRAMMY winner paid performers with counterfeit money that featured his face printed on it, reports of her insinuation took the singer’s name to viral status Monday (April 12) as memes and jokes soared in response to the news.

“Ladies, what would you do if you danced all night for Usher and he threw this?,” she asked in a now-viral social media message referring to the #Ushbucks.

Now, after the club owner has stepped out in defense of the star, the dancer who caused all the commotion is suggesting the explosive response to the joke is “not her fault.”

Longtime fans of the ‘Nice & Slow’ singer know he’s revving up promotion for the summer kickoff of his forthcoming Sin City residency, but apparently one of the promotional efforts has backfired.

To clear up the confusion, Greg Wilson – the Director of Marketing for the Las Vegas Sapphire Club – issued a statement to USA Today.

“Usher was a true gentleman and a great guest at the club,” Wilson said Monday. “He and his crew converted thousands of real dollars to tip the girls dancing on the stage.  [He even] left a generous tip for the staff.” 

As angry Usher fans confronted the dancer who caused the hoopla, she denied any firsthand involvement in sending the story to viral status.  See it below (courtesy of our friends from HU).
