Drake is once again pounding the promotional pavement for his upcoming ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album.

For, the ‘What’s Next’ rapper has just shared a lengthy preview of a new song.

Taking to Instagram, he shared the snippet alongside the caption, which seems to give away the song’s title:

“Fair Trade.”

The track sees Drizzy reflect on “losing friends and finding peace” and he tells a mystery person he’s “gotta be single for a while” because “you can’t control me.”

Back in March, Drake signaled that a new era was incoming, as he released his ‘Scary Hours 2’ EP.

Earlier this month he appeared on Nicki Minaj‘s song ‘Seeing Green’ with Lil Wayne. The song appeared on Minaj’s re-release of her ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’ mixtape (stream it here).

He is so lame and overrated

A lot of his popularity/ sales comes from him being a Canadian just like bieber and the weeknd. Plus her has ghost writers aka ovo boyz keepin him a float.

Well Drake came out during the time the whole Crunk era was coming to an end. He was one of the very few rappers that came with a brand new style/sound. His impact on 2010’s Hip-Hop/R&B simply cannot be denied. Pretty much every Hip-Hop track featured Drake & most R&B artists tried to sound like him oppose to the early 2000s R&B.

Personally I don’t think he’s overrated if we’re comparing him to many Southern rappers who made club/twerk music. I do however believe timing played a role in his success.

    Its rush hour season.

Be expecting big names to drop albums and songs from june all thru December this year.

Every big name is coming especially now covììd restrictions are easing up.

Normani is gonna get lost in the shuffle.
Poor girl. She had a huge window to release in 2019 and 2020 and early 2021 but she didnt do anything.

This is song is a perfect example of why it’s over for Drake. His music after the fourth album all sounds alike. I kind of stretch it by saying the fourth album. Drake had a good run though. He is well-deserving of the decade award.

His older music is much better. Now it seems he’s trying to prove he’s a lyricists since many critics have attacked him for his Pop/R&B style tracks. But honestly those tracks is him at his best .His newer tracks sound so lazy & uninspired. I’m sure Drake himself would love to record more tracks like ‘Trust Issues’ without all the haters.
